Chili Cook-off

We have made a few changes to make this a lot more fun! First, we are no longer limiting contestants to Ontario County so bring in that favorite cousin or BFF and see what you can do! Also, we think that one crock pot full of your best chili will be just fine. And, our deadline has now been extended to Sunday, September 11th so get your application in.

We are also pleased to announce our five judges:

  • Jason Joseph, co-owner of Joseph's Wayside Market
  • David Wismer, co-owner of Another World BnB
  • Andrea Rohr, real estate, owner of Howard Hanna A Rohr Agency
  • Bob Eason, retired friend who lives to eat from Webster
  • Trish Aser, chef and owner, Old School Cafe
In addition, we will have available for sale, Naples Grape Festival 2022 t-shirts and posters designed by Naples' own and this year's featured artist, Darryl Abraham. Go to our home page for more information.

Is there any greater sensory experience than that of walking into the kitchen and smelling the aroma of a pot of chili on the stove? Yep, eating it! Do you like to make chili? Is your recipe the best? Then join us at our first-ever Chili Cook-off competition. You can enter as a professional chef, by yourself, as a group, an organization, or a family. Spaces are limited so step up and let's see who makes the best chili around at the recently opened Engine 14 Brewery. Located on the site of the old Widmer's Winery, now the home of Hazlitt Winery, owners Greg and Kate Borden are sharing their newly renovated space to host both the Home Winemaker's Competition and the Chili Cook-off.
