World's Greatest Grape Pie Contest
Memorial Town Hall Front Lawn

For all those aspiring and accomplished pie bakers out there, we welcome your entry to the World's Greatest Grape Pie Contest. Unique to our area of the Finger Lakes, Grape Pies were created in the 1950's and credited to longtime Naples resident Irene Bouchard.

Joseph's Wayside Market, is our proud sponsor for the contest at the Naples Grape Festival where contestants enter a freshly baked pie anonymously to be judged on Saturday afternoon by our panel to determine the winner based on taste, texture and appearance.

Judging of the pie entries begins at noon on Saturday. The judges panel will be located at the Grape Pie Tent table located to the side of the front lawn of the Memorial Town Hall. Winners will be announced at end of judging and score compilation. Awards and check for the winners are presented at the contest. After the Winner(s) are chosen, the remaining pies will be sold by the slice at $5.00 per slice or 3 slices for $10.00. This is a great time to be had by all!!
